Joint Chapter Meeting Held on PSU Campus in March

The Penn State Student Chapter ISEE hosted a joint dinner/meeting with the Eastern Pa Chapter ISEE on March 31, 2026. The meeting was held on campus at the Hosler Building, Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering.

The group of 25 individuals included students, faculty, and members of the Eastern PA Chapter, either in person or via zoom.

The guest speakers were Douglas Rudenko, P.G., Senior Vice President of Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc. who presented, “Tools for Community Concerns” and Christopher D Catalano, Chief of the Explosives and Safety Section in the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Bureau of Mining Programs who presented, “Eating Regulatory Marble Cake: An Overview of Regulatory Agencies.”
