ISEE Webinar Series – Blasters Training 2020

Hello Chapter,
ISEE is pleased to announce the launch of: ISEE Webinar Series – Blasters Training 2020.
ISEE has been working diligently to ensure members have access to the same high-quality training and recertification programs normally offered in-person at Chapter-sponsored trainings and conferences. ISEE recruited volunteer speakers to compile presentations that would serve as a source of recertification training and continuing education.
The first of four webinars will be offered on Friday, September 25 from 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm. This webinar will be held again on Thursday, October 1 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm for those who are unable to attend on Friday. This first webinar will feature speakers from Dyno Nobel, Nelson Brothers, Kilmorie Consulting and Orica and will cover the Fundamentals of Blast Design, Driller & Blaster Communications, Explosive Products and Preventing Flyrock.
Each topic / speaker runs approximately one hour. There will be breaks built into the program between speakers. Participants needing continuing education training hours will be given a test consisting of 20 questions, covering the four presentations at the end of each Webinar. A score of 75% must be obtained to receive a training certificate. A written test will be mailed to and then returned to ISEE for those who do not score 75%. Please check with your state regulator, or ISEE, to determine if you are eligible for recertification hours.
Each webinar is $100 to attend. If you are a member of an ISEE Chapter, please enter your chapter name at the time of registration. Chapters will receive a rebate based on the number of their members that attend, but you must select your Chapter when registering. The goal is to provide blaster’s training and assist chapters in offsetting lost revenue from cancelled trainings and conferences. Registration is live now!
