Dear Chapter,

My term as your Chapter President has come to an end. I would like to thank the Board and Officers of our Chapter for making my term a successful one. I certainly could not have done it without you. I look forward to the New Year and welcome Scott Mueller as our new Chapter President.

One piece of advice I would like to leave the Chapter with is this - never stop learning. Just because you have been in this industry 10, 20, 30 or more years does not mean that you have learned everything this business has to offer. Drilling companies are constantly competing against one another to produce better hammers, more efficient machines and new technology for hole accuracy. We are in the dawn of the technological age where explosive suppliers can offer you an app on your phone or tablet where you can calculate scaled distance, predict your PPV, and figure out how many cubic yards per hole right at the blast site.

Thank you for this opportunity to build relationships with some of the most dynamic people I�ve ever met. We truly belong to a one of a kind industry.
